The 7th session of the Haryana History Congress was held in collaboration with the Department of Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra on 20-21 November 2022.
The Chief Guest of the 7th session Prof. Raghuvendra Tanwar, Padma Shri Awardee and Chairman of the Indian Council of Historical Research, New Delhi delivered the keynote address. The valedictory address was delivered by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Manjul, Joint Director General, Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi.
The General President of the session was Prof. Manmohan Kumar, former Head of the Department of History and Archaeology, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The Ancient Sectional President was Prof. Jeewan Singh Kharakwal, Director, Sahitya Sansthan, J.R.N. Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Udaipur, Rajasthan; the Medieval Sectional President was Prof. Gyaneshwar Khurana, formerly Head, Department of History, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra; and the Modern Sectional President was Prof. Anju Suri, Department of History, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
In this session, more than 80 papers were presented and 33 papers were accepted for publication.
