To create awareness about the recent trends in historical and archaeological research.
To promote scientific temperament for historical research.
To promote research in various historical themes and publication of proceedings, books, journals etc.
To promote awareness of preservation of historical monuments, archaeological sites and historical research in Haryana in particular and India in general.
To promote, preserve, rediscover and revive the tangible and intangible heritage.
Providing awards of excellence to invaluable historical research.
To promote ideas of cultural pluralism, peace and unity in diversity.
To establish and promote relations with versatile scholars of different streams of various regions.
To organize national/international conferences, seminars, lectures, symposia, workshops, debates, heritage tours, cultural festivals, and awareness programs among the masses.
To bring out Journals, Proceedings, Magazines, Pamphlets, Periodicals, and Newsletters etc. in English and Hindi languages.
To provide grants and donations to innovative organizations/institutions for the promotion of achieving aims and objectives of HHC.
