Dr. Sajjan Kumar

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I extend my warm greetings to all members and well-wishers of the Haryana History Congress. Founded in 2016, the Congress has always aimed at creating a dynamic platform for young and emerging scholars and researchers to explore, discover, and reinterpret the vast and rich history and culture of the Haryana region. By promoting a scientific approach and focusing on unbiased analysis, it offers a opportunity for academicians to contribute their work to a wider audience. With its abundance of historical records, archives, archaeological and cultural materials, Haryana provides an exceptional opportunity for researchers to uncover new narratives and contribute significantly to the field of archaeology, history, and culture. The Congress been successful in its mission to promote scholarly inquiry and discussion, holding nine annual sessions successfully, where new ideas, innovative insights, and fresh interpretations are presented. The publication of the “Proceedings of the Haryana History Congress” showcases this ongoing research, providing a voice for diverse perspectives and valuable resources for those interested in the history of Haryana. As we continue our journey, I encourage all researchers to actively engage with the Congress, share their work, and take full advantage of the opportunities to collaborate, learn, and contribute to a deeper understanding of Haryana’s history. Let us work together to foster a strong and vibrant academic community dedicated to the preservation and advancement of Haryana's rich cultural heritage
